This service can be used to have free video conferences with up to four people, without singing up for any service or installing any software. Just type a name for your room, choose a picture and a password, and click create. You can then share the link and invite people to video/text chat with you. Free to use, no registration needed.

Kwout is a free service that you can use to cut out parts of web pages and embed them elsewhere. It is really easy to use, as you just have to add a bookmarklet to start using it: when you are on a web page, just click it, and a new window will display a picture of the page you were browsing. Select the area you wish to cut out, refine it with borders and shadows, and get the embedding code. You can also upload it directly to your Flickr or Tumblr account. Free.
