AOL has just announced its new Instant Messenger release which boasts integration with key applications and AOL services. The new AIM Triton service is an integrated communications service that offers instant messaging, free email and SMS mobile texting, as well as voice and video chat services.
In an industry first, the AIM Triton service also features an AIM Address Book and gives users one-click access to the AOL Explorer, AOL Mail, AIM Mail, AIM Talk, and AOL Radio services.
Some of the new key features include:
The new AOL IM Triton offers now a buddy list for up to 500 of your closest friends. With the new AOL Triton you can organize your chats, your contacts and use your IM to send huge files.
AIM Mail is now integrated with the new Instant Messenger service and it provides 2GBs of free mail storage, with the addition of a handy "Unsend" button and industry-leading spam and virus protection.

The Buddy List feature can now be accessed on your mobile device to send and receive IMs. You can also send IMs from your computer directly to your buddies' cell phones.
