Convoq Does It Better: ASAP 2.0

Convoq ASAP has just released version 2.0 of its conferencing/collaboration/live presentation tool. I have therefore contacted Christopher Herot, Convoq Chief technical Officer and in a live VoIP session online I have asked him about the new products features and improvements.

Here is the MP3 audio recording of this 15 minute conversation we have had just a few hours ago.

For those of you who do not have the time or desire to listen in to our spontaneous exchange, here the five key areas where Convoq ASAP has further improved its already good feature-set:

a) Ad-hoc scheduling of events. You can now create events that do not require anymore email invitations but that can be accessed directly via a specified Web URL. This facilitates access to sale, promotion and marketing events where you desire maximum flexibility and ease of access rather than ensuring security and user identification. More options, more flexibility.

b) Multiple PowerPoint presentations can be uploaded to ASAP. Before you needed to upload on the fly what you needed to present. One presentation at a time. Now multiple presentation files can be uploaded and called up with ease via a drop down menu accessible by the presenter.

c) Branding. Convoq ASAP is partnering with some leading players in the social networking sector who will shortly release their own branded versions of ASAP. Your company or organization can do the same.

d) Scalability. As recently announced Convoq has now made ASAP flexible enough to accommodate live audiences of 50, 100 and now even 200 participants.

e) ASAP Links. Display a presence indicator on your web site, blog or inside your emails. An ASAP Link allows your readers and visitors to see whether you are online and available and allowing them to contact you directly, via ASAP (without no software installation for them) with one click of their mouse.
