Kolabora Live! Buyer's Review Launches Tomorrow

Here are some really Good news for those of you who want to learn more and need to evaluate different Web conferencing, live presentation and real-time collaboration solutions. Staring tomorrow, Thursday April 22nd, a new Kolabora Live! monthly event, will showcase multiple new technologies side by side leaving space for a full direct Q&A with VoIP from the buyers and end-users.

This is what is going to happen in this new exciting new Kolabora Live! meet-up between the industry and the real end-users.

In each Buyer's Review event I will first concisely review and summarize key features, end-user benefits, strengths and weaknesses of each tool, from a very buyer's-centric point of view. Right after, participants to the event will have the floor for themselves to ask live, voice-powered, direct, challenging questions about the tools and features showcased. Questions can be addressed to me or to one of the representatives of the tools presented.

At the beginning of the event a number of questions is ased interactively to the participants, with the purpose of gauging before showcasing the new tools, what are their actual preferences when it comes to that specific category of tools. The detailed data collected on my database backend from the interactive survey and my personal written report on the three tools showcased are made available for a fee after the event to anyone interested.

Same for the recording of the event, which will be yes made available right after the event is over, but which will require a download fee (possibly a donation) that I will use to support the further development of our live work.

Regarding which tools I will be showcasing and comparing, the first round is fully devoted to live presentation tools integrating video and VoIP.

What I can say is that no company can pay to be in this Buyer's Review. Participation is only by invitation, though I am certainly happy to hear from those companies that have new products or upgrades and who feel they can stand the test of the marketplace publicly.

So here it is, an excellent opportunity for companies in this space to have their tools showcased in front of an interested audience of potential buyers and institutional adopters. It is also a premiere opportunity to see facts from fiction (marketing materials) for end users.

First event is Thursday April 22nd at 12noon EDT (New York).

You can sign up for it now.

The event will be accessible only to PC equipped users and requires IE or a compatible browser (Avantbrowser, MyIE2) to be your choice during this session. To hear the audio you need only a set of speakers or a headphone. To ask live questions you need a headset and microphone.

There is no specific requirement for Internet connectivity and you can participate from most any location in the world having at least a stable 33.6 Kbps dial-up connection.

Sign up here.
