The 50-minute interview that I have had the pleasure of recording yesterday, during a live online VoIP session with Ray Ozzie is finally available online.
As I have mentioned before, the issues covered were quite a few, ranging from Groove latest ver 3 to RSS, VoIP and to interoperability with other technologies.
The above is one of the Chinese small paintings that I displayed as a visual during our electronic interview. My goal was to inject right from the beginning a good dose of high-touch to the certainly promising high-tech conversation we were going to have.
As a matter of fact, I found Ray to be a warm and gentle human being, with lots of emotions and a sincere passion for his work at Groove. Though such annotations may appear superfluous and obvious, I have a notorious repudiation for business-like, buttoned-up communications and to my surprise Ray revealed to have none of those unpleasant corporate traits while having intellectual sensors and perceptions of a finer class than most.
Though most of the technorati know well about Ray Ozzie, not everyone reading know that this is the man that has been first behind Lotus Notes and it is now the king of this revolutionary collaboration technology called Groove. Ray Ozzie has been honored as one of seven "Windows Pioneers" by Microsoft and was named "Person of the Year" in 1995 by PC Magazine.
