Upload And Deliver Live PowerPoint Presentations With One Click Access

TakeAIM-Present is a new online service providing easy delivery of PowerPoint presentations, documents, images and multimedia files to anyone having a PC-based browser.

TakeAIM-Present leverages (among other formats) PowerPoint XP ability to save in MHTM format which makes any presentation into one great long page with all of your slides in it (slow and cumbersome as MHTML files are often many megabytes). The use of this approach in Take-AIM implementation is very effective as while everyone else downloads the entire MHTML file to the user's computer in advance Take-AIM splits the uploaded MHTML file into many MHTML files, one for each slide. This provides for two things. One - Take-AIM only sends one slide at a time and only the slide you want (How often do you NOT want to use all the slides in a presentation? Often...) Secondly Take-AIM stores each slide definition in PersonalPresentations' databases so that each slide is accessible individually...even if not attached to a 'presentation' definition.

By using the auto-upload feature TakeAIM-Present makes media, slides and a presentation for you. All you do is upload, go to 'Present' and start presenting!

TakeAIM Personal Presentations allows you to push interactive slides, recording the users' interactions in a database. You can then review the results of your queries at your convenience, sorted by session and user as well as date
and/or question.

On top of this TakeAIM-Present throws in quite a number of cutting-edge extras including:

  • Search function to find easily any slide among all of the ones available inside presentations uploaded before

  • Power Slides - a special folder reserved for unique support and presentation materials that may be needed in multiple occasions.

  • Fully managed slides and presentations archival with full functionality for re-use of each and all of your uploaded presentation slides.

  • Live interactive annotation tools which can be used both by the presenter and/or by all of the participants (Interscribe module).

  • Interactive slides allowing the presenter to poll, query and test the audience while tracking closely and accurately the results. (The visual interactive part is all Flash-based and it allows for some great applications.)

  • Supports JPG, GIF and Flash files.

  • Integrates a full PowerPoint Flash-based slide editor. The PowerSlide Editor provides the tools to create/insert a special background (that you uploaded as a JPEG or GIF) or to create titles and bullet text-typed or pasted from other sources. You can size and precisely place additional images like logos or diagram components. (It is also possible to add Flash components to these slides to integrate interactive objects that transform the slide into a two-way information tool.)

  • Nothing to install for you or for anyone of the attendees.

  • As many participants as you need to have.

  • Each user has her own private presentation room.

  • A presentation room can be set to be "public" or "locked" with custom (you decide) password access.

  • A great price. Only $19.95/month.

  • Will support Mac and Netscape users in the future.

  • Free 14-day trial available

    More info:

Note: If your PowerPoint™ version doesn't support MHT, you can upload as a standard PowerPoint™ .PPT file for manual conversion by TakeAIM Support Services. Please allow up to 24 hours for the conversion to take place. For the first 30 days of service Take-AIM-Present will offer this service for free, after this it will cost $10 for each conversion.

Some restrictions apply to the number of maximum slides that can be uploaded and to the hours during a day in which the service can be used. Power users (29.95 and 39.95/month respectively have only a restriction to a maximum of 500 and 1000 simultaneous slides uploaded at anyone time). More info here.

Robin Good note: You can also save your presentation as a set of JPG or GIF files and upload each one of the slide/images to the service (tedious and time consuming, I know).
Also, you may seriously consider a tool like PowerConverter ($ 399 - free trial available) you may consider converting your PowerPoint presentation to Flash and then upload directly to Take-AIM in that format (recommended).
